Commissions being packed up while I wait for the boarded envelopes.

Just to keep you peeps up to date! I've made a large order of boarded envelopes so I can send off the Skal pre-orders and my recently finished commissions. (Pictured below, the majority of them already packed up)

I'm still waiting for the delivery of said envelopes, so I'm sorry for the little delay in sending the artwork/Skal off. :(

Hopefully it will arrive this coming week!

Home from BristolCon 2011!

What a day!
I've been so busy preparing for my first BristolCon (alongside working at the framers) that I just didn't take time to blog about it beforehand.
But yes! I was at BristolCon yesterday for the first time, exhibiting my work, selling stuff, doing portraits and generally socialising with some lovely people. I would write more in depth about it now, but I've actually sprained my back -really- bad from carrying all my supplies to Bristol, so I can't sit up for long, I can't eat and I can't move... IT WAS WORTH IT.

I hope to do some little comics on a few amusing things that happened, but for now I leave you with a picture of yours truly and Jim Burns :D

Just thought I'd show my usual work progress when doing a book cover!

Will keep you updated with step by step pictures when I start going over to inks and paint. :D

One of my book cover commissions!

This picture has been kept off the net for a while, but the book is now going towards the digital presses, so I can show the cover!

Clockwork Watch: The Arrival teasers!

I have started work on the first comic for the Clockwork Watch world, titled The Arrival!

Here's a little teaser ink-lined part of one page:

The comic will of course be painted in full colour with watercolour and gouache. Woop!

We still need your help to keep this project going! So if you fancy supporting us (and perhaps have your face drawn into the comic, hmmmmm? :D), head over here: IndieGoGo: Clockwork Watch

Thanks!

The difficult page:

I'm still not 100% happy with how this page turned out because of the perspective, but at least I tried. I put it off until the very end :P
