Doggie doodles~

Our internet is back after crashing on Tuesday morning!

I wish I could show you the big painting I'm working on right now, but it will have to wait until I have the all clear.
So until then...

Skal remake: Page 2 first scan.

The eagle eyed may notice different page dimensions between this page and the first. That is because I am trying to decide whether to do standard US comic book size (easier and cheaper to print) or custom size (larger and nicer in terms of viewing the art, but more expensive)

Here's what the pages used to look like in the first online version:

Another sketch of a bull breed dog.

Sketches to prepare for art exhibition.

Here are the first sketches after reference. They might become small paintings.

Shop updated with the original art!

Yarr! It took a wee bit longer than I first thought, and I think I still need to categorize the art somehow (there's a lot of it), but here it is: Jennie's arrrrt!

With originals such as:

Thinking about it, I might categorize them in genres like: 'Steampunk', 'Fantasy', 'Belly Dance', 'RPG illustrations', etc. Hmmm. *ponders*

Skal: Old sketches found in the basement.

Here's some rough sketches of what Anumi used to look like before he was Skal-ified. (He was an RPG character that I created for Mushirah's backstory) He's also the one undergoing a little bit of a 'facelift' at the moment.

Voresh peeking down at people on the street.

Voresh and two other characters from Skal, in a bit of trouble:

Finding stacks of reference and research sketches. It's so inspiring!

Old comic found in piles of sketches :P

Hah, found this old comic of me going to a new hairdressers, not realizing they were a bit out of my league, shall we say.
Not sure if I've posted it before.

Sketches from Comics Launch Pad!

Fantastic day at the first ever ComicsLaunchPad in Birmingham yesterday!
Got to meet both old friends and make new ones. Also of course saw people that I really wanted to talk to, but didn't dare approach. Will try next time. :P

I sketched until my hand twinged and I had to go hold it under the hand dryer in the ladies loo. A random lady kinda glanced at me. I think I looked pretty stupid doing that :P

Anywho! Here's some doodles.
