RPG book illustrations: Digital roughs.

Here are two other quick roughs to show ideas for pictures:

Using photoshop as a tool to map out how I want the lighting to be is good because it's so super quick to do..!

RPG book illustration: The witch.

Don't mess with nature foo'!

RPG book illustrations: Witch progress and Market lighting tests.

I've started on another illustration for the same company. It's quite hard to see what it is as I haven't properly worked with the lighting yet, but here ya go:

And a larger version can be seen here: Click me!

It's very much still in the early stages. :)

Here's an update on the market scene. I'm testing lighting before I do it properly:

RPG book illustration: Market rendering progress.

Really having trouble with this one due to the cluttered nature of the composition. It's not going to be a very large picture in the book, so I can't go overboard with the detail..

But here's a link to a slightly enlarged version: Click me!

RPG book illustration: Market linework.

(A few small bits have been left out as I needed online reference and our internet broke yesterday. It will take about a week to get it sorted, so until then I will update from cafe wifi's. :P)

RPG book illustration: Market rough.

Here's the rough before being lightboxed. I hope it won't be -too- busy for a relatively small page space in the book. Err.

I have 10 of these types of illustrations to do in a very short space of time, so this blog is hopefully gonna be pretty busy this coming week :P

Tribal doodles.

Part research, part fun. Just doodlin' to get back in the groove!

Italian commission:

One down..

... 10 illustrations to go.

Having been ill, the commissions have just stacked up and I'm kind of overwhelmed at the moment, but trying to just go with it :) This also obviously means I just can't work on Skal right now.

Online Apology for missing this week's Skal.

I've come down with the worst case of flu in over 5 years. Couldn't even get out of bed yesterday to put the apology note up :/

Incredibly frustrating to be ill.

I've been published in a Swedish RPG book!

Just received a parcel with my first RPG book publication inside! Crazy awesome.

The book in question is En Garde III! And can be found here: Click me for some Swedish stuff!

I contributed with three illustrations (better quality can be found under the tag RPG Book Illustrations on my blog if curious):

This just made my day!

Skal page 3 from Chapter 1.

I've been incredibly busy (and still am) with house-buying things IRL, so drawing just doesn't seem to happen :/

But tried getting this page done anyway!

W00t! Look who's ugly mug is in the papers!

I've been mentioned in a few northern Swedish newspapers for my graduation and my job here!

Thanks to my family for taking the time to put this in the paper!

Dogs from the shelter!

Just warming up my sketching-hand by drawing some of the dogs from the shelter (referenced from photos):

Character portrait from Skal:

A new character has been introduced!:

Might need a bit more work before I put it on the site.
