Simplicity. Woot.

Hopefully you shall see where this is going soon.

Experiment all you want, if I can't read it, you've failed.

Here is a composition rough for one of my beginning Nebo pages when the dog has been brought in.
I am attempting to do a narrative without any real fixed panels (hence the post below where I've painted myself going mental).

Making stuff pretty is all well and good, but making it readable is really flippin' hard.

Tutor boost.

Had my tutorial today. Got so much work to do and so little time that I almost explode into a big bang of stress. As usual, I get support from my lovely tutors. :)

going a bit loopy here. Second day of feeling nauseous, so I'm just trying to stay indoors really.

Here's some actual rough pages being thought out for Nebo.

And I shall end this entry with Lynn showing off her only talent.
Raising her eyebrow.

Doodeli doo.

Hopefully I should have some actual proper pop up roughs to show soon. This is what my desk looks like at the moment:

Sketches, doodles, roughs.

Got two projects on at the same time.

Macmillan Pop up competition and visual narrative.

Pop up sketches first. :)

I'll start taking photos of the actual roughs soon, when there's something to show.

For the moment, all I can really upload here are quick sketches of stuff. :P

Aaand. Now on to narrative. I was doing period pain stuff, yes?

Well, I've decided to stop beating around the bush and just get on with Nebo. To hell with the fear of it sucking. I can make mistakes while I'm at Uni. I've still got another year to just play around before the bubble bursts and I need to take care of myself. So here goes.

Unfinished quick paint at coffee shop. Rich decided to add some penises.

Unfinished doodles of character faces.

rough of narrative. Been reading Will Eisners A Contract with God and feel incredibly inspired. :)

More narrative roughs.

Here's another one. A bit longer. This is the narrative I drew this character for.

The time of the month.

Narrative sketches.

Here's one of the period pain narratives.
This is a first rough painting, to see the colours and stuffsies.
I am also not sure yet whether to add text or not.
